New Philadelphia Tuscarawas Central Catholic Junior/Senior High School held its 53rd commencement on Sunday, June 4 with a Baccalaureate Mass followed by the graduation ceremony for the Class of 2023 in the school gymnasium.
Megan Peltz was the valedictorian, and Alexandra Yoder was the salutatorian.
Class members earned more than $1.2 million in scholarships and performed more than 3,715 hours of community service.
Eighty-five percent of the 33 graduates will attend 12 institutions of higher learning.
