Bishop Earl Fernandes visited classrooms at Columbus Immaculate Conception School on Thursday, Dec. 8, the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception.
The bishop also celebrated Mass at Immaculate Conception on the morning on the parish patroness’ feast day. She is also the patroness of the United States.
Also present were Father Matt Hoover, the parish pastor, and the Daughters of Holy Mary of the Heart of Jesus sisters, who have opened a residence in the diocese.
