New Philadelphia Tuscarawas Central/Catholic High School’s 54th commencement ceremony took place on Sunday, June 2, with a baccalaureate Mass followed by the graduation ceremony for the Class of 2024 in the school gymnasium.
Andrew Rombach was the valedictorian and Thomas Rennicker was the salutatorian for the class, which has 21 members, 17 of whom will be attending one of 10 institutions of higher learning. They earned $535,750 in college scholarships and performed more than 2,200 hours of community service.
One class member, Gavin Douglass, will be involved in college athletics, playing football at Ashland University.
